Job Summary: As an experienced HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential customers. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning, and adjusting parts as necessary.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components.
  • Install new HVAC systems and components according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Test HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including answering customer questions and explaining HVAC system operation and maintenance.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and service reports.
  • Comply with all safety policies and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment and following proper handling procedures for refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in tight spaces and varying weather conditions.
